Art Through the Lens, a Photo Contest/Exhibit

Art through the lens ArtWalk is now accepting entries for the 5th Annual Art Through the Lens photo contest. The contest is open to professional and amatuers and juried applicants will be exhibited during the September 16 ArtWalk. For more information or to register click here , on or before August 1.

Teen Photo Project, July 15

In cooperation with Debbie Adams Photography, Mike's Camera, Longmont Council for the Arts and ArtWalk Longmont, the Teen Photo Project is searching to find aspiring photographic talent in Colorado. Open to all students, ages 12 to 18, regardless of the school they attend whether public, private, charter or home schooled. The result will be a collaborative photographic mosaic of the state's youth and their unique perspective on exhibit at Still Frame Gallery, 338 Main St. for the month of July.

Theme or subject matter is "What do you LOVE!" The best picks will be selected by a distinguished panel of photographers. Two age categories (12-15 and 16-18) will be judged for first, second and third place gift cards from Mike's Camera. There will be Honorable Mentions as well as People's Choice poll during 2nd Friday and ArtWalk in July in downtown Longmont.
